As soon as you realise, it has gone. When it hits you, that everything you say has been said before, you are destroyed. There is no such thing as an original thought and in itself that statement clarifies its own existence; for it is valueless and without compromise an understatement of the process it attempts to elucidate.

Yet you feel as though there is always something perpetually there, left unsaid and untouched by anyone previously. That is not an original thought.
